MANIPULATOR FOR WELDING PIPE AND METHOD FOR WELDING USING THE SAME

Disclosed is a welding device with a mechanical welding line tracking member capable of being utilized for butt-welding all kinds of pipes as the welding device can be applied to welding single-pass or multi-pass pipes. The welding device with the mechanical welding line tracking member includes a lift table on which a manipulator is installed to be moved upward and downward from/to the ground surface; a manipulator arm installed on the lift table; and a welding position minute control unit which is installed on the end of the manipulator and which moves a welding torch in X, Y, Z axes. The welding position minute control unit includes a chain guide installed on the outer circumference of a pipe; guide rollers supporting both sides of the chain guide; a roller unit LM block joined to the guide rollers; a welding torch unit LM block joined to the welding torch; a screw shaft and LM guide guiding the guide roller unit LM block and the welding torch unit LM block in the X axis while being separated from those at a predetermined distance; a Y-axis slider which sliding-guide the LM guide in the Y axis; and a Z axis slider which sliding-guides the Y axis slider to the Z axis. Therefore, the present can accurately track welding lines even in multilayered welding; facilitates maintenance with a simple structure; can obtain excellent durability; may have no worries of malfunctions; and can reduce investment costs.
