PURPOSE: A method for screening an inhibitor of female skin aging is provided to quickly diagnose the degree of skin aging using genes and to develop the inhibitor using the genes. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening an inhibitor of female skin aging caused by deficiency of female hormone comprises: a step of treating a cell with a test compound; and a step of checking whether the expression of PITX2 genes is promoted in the cells. The method also comprises a step of checking whether the expression of a gene is promoted in the cell. The gene is selected from the group consisting of SREBF1(SREBP1), LMO2, TFAP2A, XBP1, MEF2A, LEF1, RUNX2(OSF2), PATZ1(MAZR), ZNFN1A1, THRA, NKX2-5, SOX5, MYOG, MEIS1, IRF1, GATA3, AP1(FOS/JUN), TBP, SP1, HNF4A, KLF12(AP2REP), NKX2-1(TTF1), MYOD1, RUNX1(AML1), ZEB1 (AREB6), and TFAP2C genes.
