A mountain flood storage basin comprises a hollow accumulation tank placed in the channel of the mountain river, surrounded in the lower site of the river with a dam with overflow construction as a thin overflow wall with waterway. The basin includes a mechanism for automated control of the area of live cross section of water flow in waterway, depending on the water level in accumulation tank. The mechanism is arranged as gate mounted in the back surface of the overflow wall on roller bearings with drive of its lift as cable that goes over the block installed in the upper section of the overflow wall and is connected with one end to the gate, and placed with the other end in accumulation vessel of the floater which weight exceeds the weight of the gate. |
