The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an end cover for casting a rolling roll which selects novel materials in order to maintain the conventional castable properties and compressive strength of a plastic material of an end cover and molds in order for the outer skin of the end cover to minimally touch molten metals. The method for manufacturing an end cover for casting a rolling roll comprises the steps of: inserting a molding frame in order for the molding frame to penetrate through a molten metal injection hole on the outer skin in which the molten metal injection hole is formed in the center and end panels are formed on the outskirt; injecting the plastic material which include 50-55 wt% of SiO2, 40-45 wt% of Al2O3, and residual amount of foreign substances into a space between the end panels and the molding frame; drying and coagulating the injected plastic material for a predetermined time using external pressure; and removing the molding frame from the coagulated plastic material.
