FIELD: physics, testing.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test engineering and can be used for dynamic breaking tests on cutting wire. According to the invention, the method for dynamic tests of cutting wire involves stretching the wire in a test apparatus, wherein stretching is carried out by drawing the wire through a temperature heating area with given values of temperature and tensile force. The given temperatures are in the range of 50-300°C and tensile force is in the range of 1000-4500 MPa. The wire is stretched while being wound and the given temperature value is provided by a heater. The apparatus for carrying out the disclosed method includes supply and receiving controlled drives with coils, shafts with grooves for the wire, tension controllers, guides rolls, a heating element, a temperature controller and an infrared temperature sensor. Tension force of the wire is controlled by a ballerina and is adjusted by the difference between the rotary speeds of the supply and receiving drives, and the speed of feeding the wire through the apparatus can be controlled by the braking system of the supply drive.EFFECT: simple design of the stand and enabling detection of hidden defects in test samples of cutting wire.8 cl, 1 dwg |
