PURPOSE: A power factor correction circuit and a voltage supply device including the same are provided to reduce the overshoot by adopting a two-phase boosting method. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier circuit (13) converts an alternating current (AC) to a direct current (DC) at its output. A power factor correction unit (15) outputs the direct current inputted by the rectifier circuit constantly. An output voltage detection unit (17) with a resistance terminal outputs a preset output voltage. As a boosting unit (19) gets an approval for some of the voltage on the output voltage detection unit and controls the overall resistance of the output voltage detection unit, the output voltage of the output voltage detection unit gradually increases. |
