PURPOSE: A TV browser navigation device using a button combination of a TV remote controller and a method thereof are provided to move to a desired area with the minimum button pressing while maintaining the same price by using a traditional remote controller interface. CONSTITUTION: When a signal for area selection is selected from a guide screen, a TV control unit of an IPTV(Internet Protocol Television) displays an area according to a layout(S20,S30). When an area button is pushed, the TV control unit displays an area according to the pushed button and displays a button combination on a display(S40,S50). When each button combination is inputted, the TV control unit displays a page linked with the button combination on the display(S60,S70).
