The present invention relates to a method for constructing a retaining wall by using an arch type panel. A plurality of support piles are inserted into the ground after a temporary facility installation process in which an inner temporary facility is installed on the upper part of the ground. Moreover, the arch type panel is inserted between the support piles so that the retaining wall is formed, and an excavation construction area is excavated. The present invention enables the temporary facility supporting the retaining wall to be constructed at the beginning of construction and simplifies construction processes by constructing the temporary facility at a time. The present invention also reduces construction periods and construction costs.
