<p>The rotor has disks (20a, 20b) comprising a set of cells (18) formed at external periphery of the disks. Each of a set of blades (16) is mounted by a root (17) in the corresponding cell of the disk, where number of cells in each disk is greater than that of the blades. A balancing mass (28) is placed in the cell that is not occupied by the blade root. The disk is made of a material e.g. metal superalloy, having a density higher than a constitutive material such as aluminum based metal alloy or composite material, of the blade.</p> |
