The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting foreign substance in a divider for a glass substrate and more specifically, to an apparatus for detecting foreign substance in a divider for a glass substrate which performs automation of foreign substance detection in the divider in order to increase foreign substance detection ability. For the above characters, the present invention comprises: divider loading units; a divider detection unit which is connected to the divider loading units and detects foreign substances on divider surface loaded by the divider loading units; a divider unloading unit which is connected to the divider detection unit and loads the divider by unloading from the divider detection unit; and a controller which controls the divider loading unit, divider detection unit and divider unloading unit in order to transfer the divider and to detect foreign substances.
