<p>The invention relates to a capping device (10) comprising a unitary base (14) comprising a tubular peripheral wall (18) for attaching to the neck of a container, wherein the tubular peripheral attachment wall (18) defines a reference geometrical axis (X-X) of the device, and a unitary cap (12) having a hinge (16) to be pivotably connected onto the base so as to enable the pivotal movement of the cap (12) between at least an open position and a closed position, wherein the hinge (16) comprises an anchoring tab (50) embedded in the base (14). The tab (50) has at least one inner positioning lug (52) oriented radially inward and flush with an inner radial surface (62) of the base, and at least one outer positioning lug (54) oriented radially outward and flush with the outer radial surface (68) of the base. The positioning lugs (52, 54) enable the positioning of the tab (50) between two walls of the mold to be maintained during the injection molding of the base around the tab (50). The positioning lugs further contribute to the anchoring of the shape of the tab (50) in the material constituting the base (14).</p> |
