PURPOSE: A golf ball examining device is provided to reduce time, costs, and efforts in comparison that damaged golf balls are sorted by a worker with bare eyes. CONSTITUTION: A golf ball examining device comprises a golf ball collecting pipe (100) which collects golf balls which are objects for damage examination; a sensor (200) which detects a surface and an internal state of golf balls which are discharged from the golf ball collecting pipe; a discrimination part (200) which judges whether the golf ball is damaged receiving a signal from the sensor; and a pickup box (400) which collects the golf balls judged that it is damaged from the discrimination part. The sensor contains an oscillation sensor (210) which collects ultrasonic waves which are reflected from the golf balls after injecting the ultrasonic waves into the golf balls; and a collection sensor (220) which collects the ultrasonic waves which penetrates the golf balls. Moreover, the sensor also has the oscillation sensor which collects lasers which are reflected from the golf balls after injecting the lasers into the golf balls; and a collection sensor which collects the lasers which penetrates the golf balls. |
