<p>The clasp (1) has a flat oblong main body (4) comprising an open ring or hook shaped end to receive and retain a final link of a jewelry article. A closing element (12) is mounted rotatably along an axis extending in a plane of the body, transversely to a longitudinal direction of the body, and movable in translation along direction of the axis. The element closes the hook shaped end to oppose undesired release of the link. A spring i.e. helical compression spring, urges the element, in its translation direction, towards the closing position in which rotation of the element is prevented.</p> |
