The present invention relates to a device for puffing grains, and more specifically, to a device for puffing grains that puffing grains of brown rice, rice, maize, soybeans, etc. in an extrusion method without using an additional heating device, and to a device for puffing grains which a screw and a cylinder are easily separated from a main body by a gear operation, improves efficiency and allows maintenance costs to be reduced. A device for puffing grains according to the present invention comprises: a main body which a driving unit is positioned inside and comprises a tube-shaped outlet case which is extended and protruded from one side; a screw, located in the outlet case, which a screw groove is formed in the lower portion; a cylinder, positioned between the outlet case and the screw, covering the outer circumference surface of the screw; a puffing unit combined to the outlet case; and a gear unit which is connected to the screw and the driving unit and moves the screw forward and backward or is driven by the driving unit, thereby rotating the screw.
