Provided is a tube for a heat exchanger. The tube comprises: a tube body formed to be flat and including a pair of flat parts placed to be mutually separated in parallel and a pair of round parts which are placed between both end portions of the pair of the flat parts, have both end portions integrally coupled to one end portions of the flat parts, and are formed to be convex outwards; an inner fin inserted into the tube body and partitioning the inner flow path of the tube body into multiple partitioned flow paths; and a coupling unit mutually coupling both adjacent end portions of the tube body, wherein the tube body is formed by bending one tube plate of the adjacent end portions positioned at the round parts are coupled to be welded to each other, and has the inner flow path formed therein and in which a heat exchange medium can flow. Therefore, an inner fin insertion-type welded tube applied instead of an extruded tube allows a high-functional material such as a clad material to be freely selected without restrictions on materials so that a tube with high mechanical properties and durability can be obtained; the function of the tube is improved and the material costs of the tube are reduced so that the tube can be high-functional and economical; and the tube body is formed by an overlapped part without an extra welding process so that the tube can be easily processed.
