The luggage rack (10) has a support (12,18) attached to a wall- or ceiling structure, where a recess formed in the support is extended in a longitudinal direction (16) of the luggage rack and is open to a user side of the rack. A conductor rail is arranged in the recess and is provided with an electrical line extending in the longitudinal direction of the luggage rack. An electronics module (22) with an electrical load is mounted in the recess and is electrically connected with the electrical line of the conductor rail. The electronics module is freely positioned in the longitudinal direction.
