PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable current sensor improving rapid response for detecting a magnetic field to be generated by a current flowing in a current passage.SOLUTION: A current sensor 1 includes: a sensor body 2; and a shield 3 to be fixed to the sensor body 2. A current passage 4 is arranged between the sensor body 2 and the shield 3 so as to detect a current flowing in the current passage 4. The shield 3 includes: fitting parts 31 to be respectively fitted to side parts of the sensor body 2; and flat parts 32 extending nearly perpendicular to the fitting parts 31. Respective end parts 33 of the flat part 32 in the shield 3 are oppositely and separately arranged and fixed to the lower part of the sensor body 2. Thus, the current passage 4 is partially covered by the flat parts 32. Consequently, an eddy current to be generated in the current passage is suppressed to thereby eliminate the delay of a magnetic field phase to be detected by a magnetic detection element. |
