PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily fixing an overlapping portion in a seam of two or more thermally expandable fire-resistant sheets which is generated after a steel frame is covered with the thermally expandable fire-resistant sheets.SOLUTION: According to a method for fixing an overlapping portion of thermally expandable fire-resistant sheets, an overlapping portion of a seam of thermally expandable fire-resistant sheets between two flanges, among overlapping portions of seams of the thermally expandable fire-resistant sheets formed in a fire-resistant covering structure for a steel frame, is fixed by rotating an incombustible screw including a pointed distal end and inserting the incombustible screw into the overlapping portion. The fire-resistant covering structure for a steel frame comprises: a steel frame having an H-shaped cross section, including two flanges confronted in parallel and one web having both ends to which the flanges are connected; and two or more thermally expandable fire-resistant sheets covering the steel frame in a length direction of the steel frame. |
