PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device that can superimpose a virtual image to be presented on a real landscape without a sense of incongruity.SOLUTION: An image signal generation section 119 generates an image signal. An image generation section 250 generates an image based on the image signal, and emits image display light related to the image. A combiner 400 includes a concave shaped half mirror for enabling a viewer to visually recognize a virtual image obtained by enlarging the image on the basis of the image display light emitted by the image generation section 250. The image generation section 250 is installed in a predetermined posture so as to make the virtual image to be recognized as an image formed by tilting the image to a visual line direction. The image signal generation section 119 generates an image signal in which distortion of the virtual image generated by the installation of the image generation section 250 in the posture is corrected in advance. |
