PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make supplement of a lead easy.SOLUTION: A mechanical pencil 10 comprises: a case 20 having a forward opening 20a and a backward opening 20b; a mechanical unit 40 held in the case with a state that rotation is regulated and axial moving is possible; a rotation unit 60 held in the case rotatably; and an operation element 30 screwed together to the rotation unit. When the operation element rotates with the rotation unit to one direction, a nozzle unit extends from the forward opening. When the operation element rotates with the rotation unit to the other direction, the nozzle unit is arranged in the case, and when the operation element rotates to the other direction relative to the case further, the rotation of the rotation unit is regulated, and the screwing of the rotation unit and the operation element is released. A lead tank 45 of the mechanical unit is inserted in a through-hole of the rotation unit and opens in an axial back direction. |
