PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of stabilizing picture qualities of an image formed on a transfer target material even when toners are mixed.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a developing unit 16, a storage unit 403 and a control unit 406. The developing unit 16 stirs a toner supplied from a toner cartridge and supplies the stirred toner to an image carrier. The storage unit 403 stores information relating to a replacement rate, in a case where a toner cartridge housing a first toner is replaced by a toner cartridge housing a second toner that is a different kind from the first toner, when the first toner in the developing unit 16 is replaced by the second toner. When the toner cartridge housing the first toner is replaced by the toner cartridge housing the second toner, the control unit 406 controls the developing unit 16 to change a speed of stirring toners in accordance with the replacement rate stored in the storage unit 403. |
