PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing user's time and efforts by easily determining a recording medium being an object of image formation when performing image formation based on an image displayed in a display part, a recording medium determination method, a computer program and a recording medium.SOLUTION: A sheet determination part 15 determines a recording medium being an object on which a display image displayed in a display part should be subjected to image formation on the basis of the extension/reduction of a distance between two points detected by a position detection part for detecting a contact position on a display screen of the display part, and the image formation is performed on the determined recording medium.
