PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip scattering preventive cover for an anode cutting machine capable of preventing the scattering of chips and reducing the load on the recovery operation of chips.SOLUTION: A chip scattering preventive cover 40 is provided at an anode cutting machine 30 cutting the supporting part s of an anode A for electrolytic refining, and comprises: a plurality of cord materials 42; and a beam 41 sagging down a plurality of the cord materials 42 to a face shape surrounding the scattering direction of chips produced by the anode cutting machine 30. Since the chips produced by the scattering of the anode cutting machine 30 fall to the lower part without being struck and repelled, the phenomenon that the chips gather to the lower part of the cord materials 42 and scatter around the anode cutting machine 30 can be prevented. Thus, the recovering operation of the chips is facilitated, and the load of an operator can be reduced. |
