PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce assembling man-hour and make equipment compact when assembling a piston and a connecting rod to an engine.SOLUTION: A process for mounting upper ends of a pair of guide tools 10 having lower ends as free ends in a pair of bolt holes 4c provided at a lower end of a connecting rod 4, a process for inserting the connecting rod 4 and a piston 3 into a cylinder 2 from the above by making a pair of guide tools 10 precede and fitting the lower end of the connecting rod 4 to a crank pin 5 while arranging the crank pin 5 between the pair of guide tools 10, a process for removing the pair of guide tools 10 from the pair of bolt holes 4c, and a process for mounting the crank pin 5 at the lower end of the connecting rod 4 are carried out in order. |
