PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium-based electricity storage device capable of appropriately maintaining pressure inside a case, at an inexpensive price.SOLUTION: The electricity storage device includes: a hydrogen adsorption member arranged in contact with a negative electrode at least at a part inside an electrode assembly and including a granular mesh metal-based hydrogen adsorption alloy; a case accommodating the electrode assembly and the hydrogen adsorption member; and an electrode terminal provided in the case and electrically connected to the electrode assembly. The negative electrode includes a metal foil and a negative electrode active material layer coated on at least one surface of the metal foil and including a material that can occlude and release lithium. The surface of the hydrogen adsorption alloy is covered with a metal film. At least the outermost surface part of the metal film mainly consists of copper. When the number of metal atoms of the hydrogen adsorption alloy is denoted as M, and the number of hydrogen atoms occluded in the hydrogen adsorption alloy is denoted as H, 0.05<H/M<0.40 is satisfied. |
