Provided is an aluminum alloy foil having favorable moldability. Provided is an aluminum alloy foil that contains 0.8-2.0 mass% of Fe, 0.05-0.2 mass% of Si, and 0.0025-0.5 mass% of Cu, the remainder comprising Al and unavoidable impurities, has an average crystal grain size of no greater than 20 mum, and has at least 1.0×104/mm2 of intermetallic compounds having a circle-equivalent diameter of 1.0-5.0 mum.
