[Problem] To provide a resin composition which can be used as a water-collecting agent for an element that is susceptible to moisture or oxygen, e.g., an organic EL element, and which is transparent and therefore can be arranged on a light-emitting surface side without blocking out light, and from which any alcohol is not produced as a by-product. [Solution] A resin composition comprising at least one carboxylic acid anhydride and a non-reactive resin having no reactivity with a carboxylic acid anhydride group, wherein the content of the carboxylic acid anhydride group in the resin composition is 0.556 mmol/g or more and the total light transmittance of a product produced by molding the resin composition in a thickness of 100 mum is 80% or more. |
