The car (1) has a power supply unit (3) which energizes an on-board network of car main portion. A conversion unit (7) converts electrical output voltage (V1,V2) into modified electrical output voltage (V'2). The modified voltage is output to the connecting elements (4,5,9). The connecting elements (5,9) are electrically connected to warm-start starting unit (6) for warm starting an internal combustion engine, and with cold-start starting unit (10) for cold starting the internal combustion engine.
