The method involves connecting a semiconductor valve (2n) in parallel to another semiconductor valve (2a). Ignition angle adaptations are performed for each valve by a pilot control (5). Temperature values (13a, 13n) influenced by lost heat of the valves, are detected. The provided ignition angle adaptations are corrected such that the temperature values approach each other. The valves are controlled by temperature compensation controllers (6). A temperature average value (12) is formed from the temperature values as a guide variable of the controllers. An independent claim is also included for a control circuit.
