The invention relates to an underwater connection device which includes a first cavity (3) for a first electric cable (6); a second cavity (4) for a second electric cable (7), said first cavity (3) being rotatable relative to said second cavity (4); and an electrical connection means (8) between the ends of said first cable (6) and said second cable (7); characterised in that said connection means (8) includes a printed circuit board (10) provided with at least one electrically conductive track (19), said printed circuit board (10) being secured to said second cavity (4); and at least one resilient electrically conductive contact (17, 18) rotatably secured to said first cavity (3), said contact (17, 18) being in contact with said at least one electrically conductive track (19) of said printed circuit board (10). The invention makes it possible to minimise wear, friction and electrical resistance between the contact and the conductive track.
