The present invention relates to a system for measuring the rotation angle of an excavator which includes a lower body having a caterpillar; an upper body which is pivotally placed at the upper part of the lower body and includes a bucket; a gyro sensor which is installed in the upper body to sense the location of the upper body and sends information on the location of the upper body; and a rotation angle signal processing unit which processes rotation angle signals of the excavator based on the detected location information received from the gyro sensor. Therefore, the invention improves the accuracy of measuring the rotation angle by reducing data error and removes the measurement limit according to the rotation of the upper body by using the gyro sensor without using wires.
