PURPOSE: A fluid operation system for a ship is provided to operate the fluid operation system of entire ship except damaged parts even when a part of the ship is damaged by fire or flooding. CONSTITUTION: A fluid operation system for a ship comprises a pump, a main pipe(800), branch pipes, and fail-to-close valves for the branch pipes(813). The pump supplies fluid into a ship or discharges the fluid to the outside of the ship. The main pipe is connected to pumps. The branch pipes are connected to the main pipe. The fail-to-close valves for the branch pipes are installed in the branch pipes to normally open relevant branch pipes. When normal fluid stream to the relevant branch pipes is impossible, the fail-to-close valves for the branch pipes close the relevant branch pipes. |
