PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective material as a material exhibiting excellent protective performances against gases, liquid chemical substances and particulate substances, above all excellent liquid osmosis inhibitory functions under pressure, permeating air, light in weight, and affording excellent comfort.SOLUTION: In a protective material 6 provided by laminating at least one layer each of: protective sheet layer 4 wherein at least three layers of upper layer 1, intermediate layer 2 consisting of a non-woven fabric with a mean single fiber diameter of 10 nm or above and 2000 nm or below, and lower layer 3 are laminate; and gas adsorption layer 5, the air permeability of the protective material is 5 cm/cmsec or above, and the oil repellency of the lower-layer sheet of the protective sheet layer stipulated by AATCC Test Method 118-2002 is Grade 3 or above. |
