PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear pump capable of preventing generation of loss torque while preventing intrusion of an elastic seal material into a clearance gap by eliminating the clearance gap between a ring-shaped seal mechanism and a housing (case) outer shell.SOLUTION: The seal mechanism 111 is composed of an inner member 112, an annular rubber member 113, and an outer member 114. An outer peripheral wall of the inner member 112 includes a flange portion 112f configuring a pressure receiving face generating propulsion force to a side separating from the gear pump 19 of the inner member 112 by pressure-contact of the annular rubber member 113 based on application of a discharge pressure of the gear pump 19, and increasing the propulsion force by increase of the pressure-contact force of the annular rubber member 113 in accompany with rise of the discharge pressure. |
