PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key input device which can be configured thin and compact, while ensuring a long lifting stroke of a key top.SOLUTION: Tip parts 44d of a pair of arms 44 extending integrally from a fixed part 42, and both sides of a key top 41A on the front 41d side are coupled by a coupling part 46. When a downward pressing force F1 is applied to the central part of the operation surface 49 of the key top 41A, a bending moment M1 having a fulcrum at a connection 45 on the proximal side, and a bending moment M2 having a fulcrum at a coupling part 46 on the distal side act on the arm 44. Since the arm 44 deforms into S-shape having bending deformation parts (i), (ii), the key top 41A can lower in substantially horizontal position. Since the key top 41A has such a structure that it is supported by the arms 44, 44 on both sides, it can be made compact while ensuring a long lifting stroke. |
