PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover multicast relay quickly while also restraining traffic from increasing.SOLUTION: A multicast relay device outputs a multicast packet addressed to a multicast group according to multicast relay control information and, when a topology change in a network is detected, outputs a subscription request notification including a request for the distribution of a multicast packet addressed to a multicast group belonging to the network in which the topology change was detected and a prescribed value. When a subscription request notification including a prescribed value is received, the multicast relay device outputs the subscription request notification from a belonging port determined on the basis of entry management information and stores the belonging port at which the subscription request notification was received in the multicast relay control information as a learning port to output the multicast packet addressed to the multicast group indicated by the subscription request notification. |
