PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device having an overvoltage protection function which implements an automatic restart as well as overvoltage protection.SOLUTION: Components are divided into a first circuit section (2) and a second circuit section (3). In starting to operate the second circuit section (3), a first control section (15) in the first circuit section (2) closes a switch (SW1) to start power supply to the second circuit section (3). If a voltage of a power supply (1) exceeds a first predetermined value, the switch (SW1) is controlled off to stop power supply to the second circuit section (3), and then after the voltage of the power supply (1) falls below a second predetermined value lower than the first predetermined value, the first control section (15) controls on the switch (SW1) to start power supply to the second circuit section (3). |
