PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a currency processing system and a currency processing method that can flexibly change the number of currencies to be disbursed as a change reserve for each denomination in consideration to currencies in hand in a machine of the currency processing system.SOLUTION: A currency processing system 1 is configured to comprise: storage sections 27, 34 and 115 that store a currency; and a control section 15 that, when a currency of a predetermined total amount is disbursed as the change reserve, sets the number of currencies for each denomination to be disbursed on the basis of the number of currencies for each denomination stored in the storage sections 27, 34 and 115. |
