PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle sensor capable of achieving space saving.SOLUTION: An angle sensor 100 including an absolute position detection section 130, a relative movement detection section 110 and a rotary transformer section 140 is provided on a position where a coil and a R/T of the rotary side and the coil and the R/T of the stator side are oppositely located. An absolute position detection coil has a spiral coil pattern, and a relative movement detection coil has a meander-like plane coil pattern. The absolute position detection section 130 and the relative movement detection section 110 are input with an excitation signal of the high frequency respectively, and detect angles by the change in inductance accompanied with a positional change of a rotor side sensor substrate 20 against a stator side sensor substrate 40. The angle sensor 100, when activated, detects an initial position of the absolute position detection section 130, and thereafter, detects a position of the rotary side sensor substrate 20 by the output of the relative movement detection section 110. A rotary side relative movement detection coil 113 is provided on the radial outside of a rotary side absolute position detection coil 133. |
