PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate an open circuit voltage accurately after charge/discharge stop without waiting for stabilization of a terminal voltage.SOLUTION: An open circuit voltage estimation apparatus 50 sets model function f[t] obtained by modelling the behaviour of terminal voltage of a battery module after charge/discharge stop. The model function f[t] includes one or more unknown parameters A. After the charge/discharge stop, fitting of the model function f[t] is performed using a measured voltage value of the terminal voltage periodically obtained. The parameter Ais thus determined, thereby estimating a convergent value (i.e., open circuit voltage value) of the terminal voltage of the battery module after the charge/discharge stop. In this case, weight (u) is given to data for determining a parameter including the measured voltage value, and then fitting is performed. |
