<p>A method, a computer-readable storage medium and a system for parting data to improve system performance are provided. The method includes parting a data item into multiple data units based on update frequencies of the data units; identifying a low update frequency data unit from amongst the data units; determining a regional sensitive group for the low update frequency data unit based on a historical access pattern of the low update frequency data unit, wherein the regional sensitive group including a first host; replicating the low update frequency data unit; and pushing the replicated low update frequency data unit to the first host. The present disclosure provides a solution which enables distributed computer systems to effectively synchronize modified date items, especially for data items that are frequently modified.</p> |
