The present invention relates to a gas range having an overheating prevention device, wherein magnetic forces of a magnetic body are lost simultaneously with operation of a lead switch when a temperature of a magnetic force is raised above a predetermined temperature by being transmitted of a temperature of a cooking instrument for transmission to a magnetic body while a heating plate of an internal housing is pressurized by a cooking instrument to be moved to a lower part, and gas supply is cut off to extinguish flames as a control unit of a gas range receives transmission of operating status signals. In the gas range having an overheating prevention device according to the present invention, heating conditions of a cooking instrument can be accurately identified as a magnetic body is directly transmitted of temperatures of a heating plate without being affected by outside air as the magnetic body has transmission of temperatures from the heating plate, ignition and extinguishing operations are accurate since magnetic forces of a magnetic body are changed with bottom face temperatures of a cooking instrument, durability is secured without a risk of damages as a magnetic body is provided in the internal housing, a liquid does not infiltrate a magnetic body by falling down along an outer face of an external housing, and costs are saved as no separate sensors are required to measure temperatures. |
