摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery having high productivity and reducing poor welding in the bonding of an electrode laminate and a collector terminal, and to provide a manufacturing method of the secondary battery.SOLUTION: The secondary battery has an electrode laminate formed by laminating electrode plates, and a collector member bonded to a collector foil lamination part where the portions of the electrode plates not having an active material layer are laminated. A manufacturing method therefor is also provided. In the manufacturing method of the secondary battery, a collector foil lamination part and a collector member are bonded by resistance-welding while superimposing the bonded parts and pressing from both sides by means of resistance-welding electrodes. When the pressing direction is set in the projection direction, the area ratio Yd/Xd is in a range of 1.2 or more and 4 or less, where the Xd is the projection area of a contact surface of the resistance-welding electrode pressing the surface of a collector foil lamination member and the collector foil lamination part, and Yd is the projection area of a contact surface of the resistance-welding electrode pressing the surface of a collector member and the collector member.
