PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater that has a function to heat water in a bathtub while supplying air to the bathtub and can improve service lives of components such as a compressor by suppressing increase in start/stop frequency of a heat pump unit.SOLUTION: A storage water heater includes a microbubble generating device capable of generating microbubbles in bathwater. When generation of microbubbles is requested, microbubbles are generated by the microbubble generating device while the bathwater is circulated in a water circulation circuit to supply the microbubbles to a bathtub (bubble supply operation). When the temperature of the bathwater is lowered during the bubble supply operation, reheating operation is performed in conjunction with the bubble supply operation (bubble reheating operation). At this time, when heating operation by a heat pump unit is being executed, heat pump direct reheating operation is selected as the reheating operation. When the heating operation is not being executed, hot water storage reheating operation is selected. |
