PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device allowing covering of a folded airbag with a covering cloth without being interfered by a folding tool inserted between folded portions of the airbag when covering the folded airbag with the covering cloth using the folding tool, and a method of wrapping the airbag.SOLUTION: When a folded airbag 1 is covered with a covering cloth 2 using a folding tool 7, one end 7a of the folding tool 7 is pushed into one end face 1a of the airbag 1 and the one end face 1a is covered with a first end face covering part 3. After that, the other end 7b of the folding tool 7 is pushed into the other end face 1b of the airbag 1. At the time, the one end 7a of the folding tool 7 can be projected to the outside through an opening 3a of the first end face covering part 3. The other end face 1b of the airbag 1 is covered with a second end face covering part 4 and a side face 1c of the airbag 1 is covered with a side face covering part 5, thereby wrapping the airbag 1 with the covering cloth 2. |
