PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce movement of an image surface caused when a user operates an operation member.SOLUTION: When a focus ring 107 is operated by a user, an amount of the operation is converted to a first drive pulse signal by a lens side controller 105. The first drive pulse signal, which is to be used for the drive control of a focus lens 102, is also transmitted to a camera body 200 when an imaging apparatus 1 is in a storage mode. A body side controller 201 calculates the average pulse speed of the first drive pulse signal and stores the average pulse speed in the registration area 241 of a body-side storage unit 204. When the imaging apparatus 1 is in a reproduction mode, the first drive pulse signal is generated on the basis of the average pulse speed stored in the registration area 241 and the focus lens 102 is driven with the signal. |
