The method involves performing a control operation of an automated dry clutch i.e. partial gear box clutch (10), according to a clutch characteristic line, which indicates a clutch moment in dependence on a coupling position. The characteristic line for compensation of alterations is corrected in the clutch behavior. The correction of the characteristic line is performed in dependence of air humidity, where the characteristic line is created according to a determined clutch model with which swelling of a clutch lining is provided as a measure for an influence of the air humidity.
