<p>The present invention relates to a colour image sensor and a method for acquiring a colour digital image, and in particular, to a colour filter element array. The colour image sensor includes an image sensor and a colour filter, the colour filter covers the surface of the image sensor, and the image sensor is formed by arranging a plurality of sensing elements into a sensing element array. The colour filter is formed by arranging a plurality of colour filter elements into a colour filter element array. One colour filter element corresponds to one sensing element to output one pixel in a colour image. The method for acquiring a colour digital image obtains a pixel value of any colour filter element by calculating same through a specific formula. One colour filter element in the colour filter element array outputs one pixel in the colour image. The present invention greatly improves the utilization rate of a sensor; and RGB tristimulus values of one and the same position can be reconstructed from a plurality of colour filter elements, improving the accuracy of colour restoration.</p> |
