A startup detection device and a voltage correction method for the same are disclosed. The startup detection device includes: a measurement part for measuring the voltage of a battery; a storage part for storing the measurement of the battery voltage; an input part to which a correction command for the reference voltage of the battery used for detecting if the ignition of a vehicle is turned on or off, an ignition-on voltage measurement command, or an ignition-off voltage measurement command is inputted; and a control part which measures the ignition-on voltage of the battery according to the ignition-on voltage measurement command, which controls the measurement part to measure the ignition-off voltage of the battery according to the ignition-off voltage measurement command, and which calculates a reference voltage using the ignition-on voltage and the ignition-off voltage.
