PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save time and labor for manually untangling a mass of clothing to some extent in advance.SOLUTION: A clothing handling device to untangle a mass of clothing F comprising multiple pieces of tangled clothing is characterized by comprising: a clothing piling-up mechanism 16 to hold a part of clothing on a conveyer for conveying clothing and pile up the held clothing obliquely upward in drooping state; a pair of top and bottom compression conveyer 20 and 19 with their inlet positioned facing each other at an intermediate part of the piled clothing in drooping state and a distance between them becoming closer from their inlet toward exit; and a clothing push-in mechanism 21 to push the intermediate part of the clothing into the inlet of the compression conveyer. |
